DURING FINAL APPROACH THE LANDING GEAR COLLIDED WITH A SNOWBANK AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED ON ITS NOSE AND MAIN LANDING GEAR, COMING TO REST APPROXIMATELY 30-50 YARDS FROM THE APPROACH END OF THE RUNWAY.
