THE PILOT WAS TAXIING TO THE TIE-DOWN AREA WHEN THE RIGHT SKI/LANDING GEAR FAILED. THE PILOT ATTRIBUTED THE FAILURE TO AGE AND NOTED THAT ICE LANDINGS ARE HARD ON SKI EQUIPPED AIRCRAFT.
