THE ACFT HIT THE GROUND WHILE TRYING TO STAY VFR UNDER LOW CEILINGS AT NIGHT. THE STUDENT PLT WAS RETURNING FROM A X-COUNTRY, FOR WHICH HE HAD NO BRIEFING ON THE WEATHER, WHEN THE WEATHER BECAME WORSE.
