PLT ATTEMPTED TAKEOFF ON 1100 FT OF REMAINING RWY WITH A 5 KT TAILWIND. ACFT BECAME AIRBORNE BUT WAS UNABLE TO CLEAR POWER LINES LOCATED 1000 FT BEYOND THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RWY. DENSITY ALT AT TIME OF ACCIDENT WAS CALCULATED TO BE 3600 FT. WITH THESE CONDITIONS, PERFORMANCE MANUALS INDICATE A DISTANCE OF 2500 FT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO CLEAR A 50 FT OBSTACLE.
