THE ACFT RAN OUT OF FUEL DURING AN APPROACH TO THE ARPT & LANDED SHORT OF THE STRIP. DURING THE LANDING, THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THE PLT THOUGHT HE HAD ABOUT 8 GAL OF FUEL REMAINING.
