THE ENGINE FAILED ON FINAL APPROACH. THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT CLEAR A WOODED AREA RESULTING IN AN UNCONTROLLED DESCENT. THE CAMSHAFT HAD FAILED AT THE NUMBER 1 JOURNAL OIL GROOVE.
