PIPER AIRCRAFT WAS IN CRUISE FLIGHT FROM LANCASTER, PA TO MT JOY, PA. WHEN AN OIL LINE APPARENTLY FRACTURED. AN EMERGECNY LANDING WAS MADE IN A FIELD. DURING LANDING, THE NOSE COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED.
