THE PILOT FAILED TO COMPENSATE FOR THE CROSS WIND DURING THE TAKEOFF INITIAL CLIMB. THIS LED TO A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND SUBSEQUENT COLLISION WITH THE WINDSOCK STANDARD.
