THE CEILING AND VISIBILITY WERE GETTING LOWER AND THE PILOT ELECTED TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY LANDING. DURING TOUCHDOWN THE PILOT MADE A HARD LANDING AND THE AIRPLANE CAUGHT ON FIRE.
