AN ENGINE FAILURE CAUSED BY A SEIZED PISTON. A FACTOR ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACCIDENT IS THE FAILURE OF THE PILOT TO MAINTAIN A PROPER DESCENT RATE DURING HIS FORCED LANDING.
