The Australian Transportation Safety Board (ATSB) requested assistance in obtaining information from Honeywell regarding the history of TPE331-11U 1st stage turbine blade failures and preventative maintenance action in connection with this failure. The ATSB had determined that the cause of an IFSD of a TPE331-11U-611G engine was a below-platform stress rupture fracture of a 1st stage turbine blade, P/N 3108125-1. 2,327.9 TSO / 2,473 CSO. The National Transportation Safety Board represents the United States in aviation investigations involving overseas interests under the provisions of Annex 13 to the Convention on International Aviation.
