On June 23, 2015, a privately owned Cessna 525A, registered JA021R, took off from Tokyo International Airport at about 14:41 (JST: UTC+9hrs) and landed at Kohnan Aerodrome in Okayama prefecture at about 15:46. The landing ended up a runway overrun. It rested in a pond in the vicinity of the west end of the runway and substantially damaged.
