On September 21, 2018, about 1440 hours universal coordinated time, a Cessna T210L single-engine airplane, serial number 21060532, Mexican registration XB-NVG, impacted terrain on mount Pico de Orizaba near Veracruz and Puebla, Mexico. The three occupants were fatally injured. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC).
