On November 6, 2015, at 1840 local time, a Cessna 310R, VH-BWZ, operating under the pertinent civil regulation of the Government of Australia, collided with terrain near Mildura, Australia, while on approach. The airplane was destroyed in the post-impact fire and the pilot, the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Australia.
